"Wade and Paloma were very warm and communicative from the beginning. The apartment in Moravia is beautiful, filled with light, and has everything you might need. I stayed here for 9 weeks, and it was a wonderful, peaceful retreat from the city of San Jose. I especially appreciated that I could always email or call Paloma with any issue I might have, and she provided a prompt response.  "Listing description was spot-on; neighborhood was safe, and friendly. Incredibly convenient location for shopping at Plaza Lincoln, or Los Colegios Plaza - where you'll find a handful of great restaurants, plus the bus into San Jose is literally just outside the door of the apartment. Wade and Paloma were very attentive to any questions or concerns I had during my stay, and quick to respond whenever I reached out to them. The house is spacious, and maintained; most necessities provided - kitchen accessories, washer, dryer. But lastly, that courtyard!  "Hello, we are a couple in their thirties who travels for a long time. We find a small apartment in Costa Rica quite charming in the area of ​​Moravia. The price was also very good and we had everything that we wanted to be happy: kitchenette, small TV and a great internet signal. The apartment is close to a grocery store and shopping center, the bus to downtown San Jose is taken directly to the door and front of the building. "Estuve viviendo por tres meses en la casa y puedo decir de todo corazón que fue una de las mejores experiencias que he tenido viviendo fuera de mi país. Cuando se está lejos de casa, en un país extranjero, es una preocupación encontrar el lugar en donde uno pueda sentirse en familia. Sin embargo, aquí me sentí muy cómoda y tranquila. Los dueños se esmeran por ofrecernos las mejores condiciones para vivir y esto se refleja en la buena energía que tiene la casa y las chicas que habitamos en ella, ya que no a cualquiera le permiten la estadía. Esto muestra su interés en mantener una excelente convivencia y un ambiente especial. Lo anterior, sumado a la ubicación y al fácil acceso a supermercados y transporte hace que sea un lugar maravilloso para vivir. "I lived here for 6 months and could not have asked for a better experience. I had lived in 3 places prior to finding this spot in Moravia, and this was the best by far! The location is perfect - it is a quick bus ride to the city, but offers a relaxing escape from noisy downtown. The garden, the natural light, the park across the street and the spacious living area are awesome - not to mention the proximity to the Farmer's Market, which was truly a great way to spend a Saturday morning. I made amazing friendships while I was living here as well; the landlords do a great job of finding tenants who will live well together.     I lived here for the month of November (2014) and loved it! The house is very clean, big, and nicely decorated to where it really is a home rather than just a place where you rent a room. There's a cute back patio and front/side yard perfect for drinking coffee and enjoying the nature even though you are within the convenience of a residential neighborhood. There is a washer and dryer, fully stocked and equipped kitchen, beautiful dining room, and a comfy/eclectic living room with couches, books, etc. The rooms are big and the showers are hot. The landlords themselves were around during my stay, and they are wonderful people! Super nice, helpful, accommodating, and made me feel at home. They had dinner waiting my first night, and fruit set out in the morning. You are a short walk from anything you might need, and the bus to down town San Jose stops by the park right in front of the house. Even though you are near to many shops, bus lines, restaurants, a major mall, and a bar, the neighborhood remains peaceful and quiet. Live here!! :)

    I had the pleasure of staying here for a bit over 2 month Jan and Feb 2015. It is one bus ride to the ORGANIC Market!! :) and same bus route .. just the opposite direction to S.J downtown.. VERY convenient. It is walking distance to grocery stores, pharmacies, restuarants. Paloma and Rosio were very helpful, with things like bus routes and receiving goods sent internationally and other 'little things' that could have been difficult ( I dont speak much spanish ) but were very easy. The back courtyard was perfect for my very early meditation ( before the first bus of the day ) and the home had all neccisties. I was there for many weeks alone and always felt completely safe.     I stayed here last year for 2 months and loved my time at this spot! They were attentive to all of their tenants needs and made sure our space was safe and secure. Highly Recommend!
